You may remember the video I posted about “iAno“ the very remarkable piano app for the iPod touch/iPhone. Please note that due to conflicts with that name the app is now called “Pianist”. It seems that name conflicts with the spanish language. This very powerful app was created by Moo-Cow-Music.
While rummaging through my favorite iPod touch forum. I stumbled across an interesting post by MooTheCow. MooTheCow is the creator of Pianist and it seems that MooTheCow let on to a new Beta release coming soon by the name of “Drummer”. This is another fine creation if you ask me. Very fine craftsmanship on both of these apps. Another very nifty feature of this app is that you can create and add your own sounds for a custom fit to your needs.
Features:
A 15 sample Drum Pad for your iPhone / iPod Touch.
Multi-touch. Up to 5 pads can be pressed at once.
Animated pads illuminate at your touch.
Play along to all your MP3s.
Change between drumkits at the touch of a button.
The following kits come pre-installed: Rock, Dance, Jazz 1 and 2, and Electro.
Drumkits are fully expandable to allow you to add your own samples (see below).
The new handheld pop group iBand have created two new videos.
Apple announced that they will be having a “town hall” event on March 6th. at headquarters in Cupertino at 10am that day.
Does this mean that they will be giving us the roadmap to success? It is still a bit too early to tell however we do know that they will discuss “some exciting new enterprise features” along with discussions concerning the developing future of the SDK. We are still unsure as to whether they will be releasing the SDK at that time however, they will be discussing it.
Let’s keep a lookout and see what we can come up with in a weeks time.
It’s true!! Just not like you are thinking though.
Touchmods team announced today that the team would soon separate. Into two groups, that is. Had ya going for a minute though huh?
The team announced today that they plan on making 2 groups. 1 of which develops for the iPhone and one team to develop for the iPod touch.
Touchmods went on further to say that their software will forever be free!! With this new idea, it is purposed that the Touchmods team will be juggling feats of magic. Working on solutions for everyone.
The Touchmods team is now giving you the opportunity to, as they say “Hack the Hack”. Quite an interesting terminology however, oh so, appropriate.
Coming soon to the Touchmods repository, you will find a very interesting item.
The surprice is NOT that the App is free and open for all providers, but Samuel did implement a little trick that will disable the SW after using it for two weeks.
Ok folks, it’s time to break out your treasure hunting tools. If you can figure out how to rearrange a couple of certain numbers you can stop the deadline of using the software.
Word is also, that if someone just so happens to post the answer up over there. The post will be left for everyone to see. Educational purposes you know.
See the rest of this over at “Hack the Hack“

Wow. Where did that come from? I go rest my old eyes for a few minutes and when I wake up. . . WTF? Where did that come from and how did that get there?
With Apple putting out the new MacBooks and then the 2GB iPod shuffle yesterday, I thought they were finished for the day. Well folks, it’s really here. 1.1.4 firmware is here. It seems that Apple is actually stepping up to the plate and getting ready for the SDK.
TUAW alerts us with a live report on the download and Engadget reports that it consists of mainly “Bug Fixes”. Engadget further reports that it works on a jailbroken 1.1.3 and a non jailbroken 1.1.3 also that ZiPhone works as well.
I will be trying this out myself in a couple of hours and I will report back. Enjoy.

The new MacBook. Price starting from $1,099(White and Black models available)
The new MacBook Pro. Price starting from $1,999

We all know that tensions are building as Apple primes up to give us the best of the best. While we do know that every Tuesday this month, Apple has dropped some mighty fine goodies upon us. It is also apparent that Apple may not produce as soon as we expected. It is fine time that Apple steps up to the plate as February is nearing it’s end with no good signs that we are in store for anything good this week.
We have rumors all over showing the promising output for today’s Tuesday line up however, it is still too early to tell. Word is, from our friends over at Engadget, that new MacBook’s are on the horizon. New Apple product numbers showing up in stores order lists reveal that truly something is up Apple’s sleeve. But what exactly?
Rumors are also flying around that the new SDK will not be pushed until maybe the middle of March. The people want it now.
Come on Apple. You are starting to slack in terms of credibility. We need you to back up what you earlier stated. The people want it, the people need it. Give it to us and let us run with it.
The only thing we can do now is just wait. This is going to be a long Tuesday!!
