That’s right folks, you heard me right. You too can have the chance to win $50 in prizes.
It is rather simple. My friend over at installerapps.com is holding this contest for the whole month of April.
All you have to do is sign in at his site(you have to register to comment) and find your favorite installer app for the iPod touch or iPhone and give a rating. Simple as that. You can rate as many apps as you like however, please be fair and rate the apps with honesty. Installerapps.com will be monitoring the ratings so no cheating.
I will be picking a ‘rating’ made during the month of April. It doesn’t matter when the post was made(you can go back and rate applications from last month, from January, etc. . .). It just matters that the rating was done in this month.
The winner gets to pick a prize(or multiple) from Amazon.com. . .that totals no more than 50 USD(including shipping).
So, why not? Have you got anything better to do? Earning this prize couldn’t be easier.
Be sure to check it out before May 1st or you’ll lose your chance at this amazing deal.
If you missed that link, here it is again. Installerapps.com

To my avid readers I would like to apologize for my absence the past few days. I have just returned from the hospital from a small batch of pneumonia. I know there is really no excuse as technology doesn’t stop for illnesses however, I am the only writer on ipodtouch4all.
If in the event that I should fall ill again I will see about having someone take my place until I return. Once again, please let me express my sincere apologies to you as my loyal readers.
Now, on to other things. It looks like we have a big event in store in just a few hours. Now, I am here in Japan and the event will start around 3am Tokyo time. Sooooo, I will probably be up until around 4 or 4:30am and I will give you as much up-to-date information as I can. Rest assured, AS SOON as I awake the next morning I will continue to give you as much information concerning the Apple event as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and I hope to see you here soon.
On a side note, I am finding out that a site like this is just too much for one person to handle, considering the other things that I have to juggle on a daily basis. I don’t want to let any of my loyal readers down by not being on top of things. If anyone would be interested in writing for ipodtouch4all please contact me through my contact page. Unfortunately, I cannot pay you however, if you would like a place to put your writing skills or would like to express your ideas pertaining to the relevant issues on this site, I would love to hear from you and add you to the ipodtouch4all team.
Thank you,
Phoenix

We all know that tensions are building as Apple primes up to give us the best of the best. While we do know that every Tuesday this month, Apple has dropped some mighty fine goodies upon us. It is also apparent that Apple may not produce as soon as we expected. It is fine time that Apple steps up to the plate as February is nearing it’s end with no good signs that we are in store for anything good this week.
We have rumors all over showing the promising output for today’s Tuesday line up however, it is still too early to tell. Word is, from our friends over at Engadget, that new MacBook’s are on the horizon. New Apple product numbers showing up in stores order lists reveal that truly something is up Apple’s sleeve. But what exactly?
Rumors are also flying around that the new SDK will not be pushed until maybe the middle of March. The people want it now.
Come on Apple. You are starting to slack in terms of credibility. We need you to back up what you earlier stated. The people want it, the people need it. Give it to us and let us run with it.
The only thing we can do now is just wait. This is going to be a long Tuesday!!

Which colors would you like to see on this site or would you like it to stay the same as it is?
Basically, I would like to know which you would like best. What will change will be the links and a few buttons.
Be sure to cast your vote today. Voting will end on March 7th. Thanks for participating.
It is not necessary to register to vote. When you get to a screen that says enter your name, blah, blah. Just hit the “skip this step button” and you can vote anonymously.

If you are the proud owner of an iPod touch or an iPhone and you are a Palm lover but you don’t feel like carrying them both around at the same time. Well this might be something for you. Too bad that this is just an experiment.
The good folks over at TUAW tell us about a company by the name of StyleTap has created a experimental build for the iPod touch and iPhone that emulates your favorite Palm device.
TUAW also goes on to state that the StyleTap rules are quite clear.
This is an EXPERIMENTAL version – it is NOT a product, nor is its presence here a commitment of any kind, express or implied, that StyleTap Inc. will ever release an official version of StyleTap CrossPlatform for Apple iPhone or iPod Touch.

You may remember back in 2005 when a 22yr old hacker by the name of Jon Lech Johansen better known as “DVD Jon” brought a big stir to Apple and iTunes creating a hack that allowed iPod users to use music purchased on other sites, not just from that of iTunes. In turn he wanted to license this technology to other companies.
Now “DVD John” is at it again. While claiming that this process is completely legal, he now has new software that allows users to drag and drop iTunes music to a folder on their desktop, that can then be copied to other devices. Mobile phone and gaming devices are now on the list. It seems that NGage, cybeshot devices, and among others Windows Mobile operating system will benefit from this.
The program gets around Apple’s DRM software by replaying a song in fast-forward and taking a copy of the audio track, using a process similar to that by which a CD is ‘ripped’ - or copied - to a computer.
About a hundred songs can be converted in half an hour, doubleTwist said, although there is a 5 per cent loss of sound quality - about the same as when a CD is copied.
It seems that there will be another battle with Apple soon.
If this is something that interests you, why don’t you check them out. DoubleTwist
(Thanks to Bear for sending this in)
